About Our Counselling Services

Counsellors at the Schlifer Clinic have years of experience and training. We come from a range of backgrounds and have helped women from many diverse communities in many kinds of situations.

  • We provide therapeutic counselling, information and support through group-based and individual counselling programs.
  • We can help with the practical aspects of either leaving an abusive situation or remaining in your current relationship.
  • We can help with practical aspects in the aftermath of a sexual assault and longer term support. We can help you to cope and recover from the impacts of childhood sexual abuse/incest.
  • We are here for you when you are ready to talk. If you want to learn more about our services or to speak to a counsellor, a woman must call us herself. Her service provider cannot make the appointment.
